Some time ago, someone on Facebook asked me to “interview” my kids. I found the answers, um, intriguing?

1. What is something your mom always says to you?
10: “I love you.”
8: “I love you.”

2. What makes your mom happy?
10: Us
8: For us to not fight

3. What makes your mom sad?
10: When we kick at her (I have no idea what he means by this. Maybe he meant “pick” at her but my middle-aged ears are failing me?)
8: Us fighting and being mean to her

4. How does your mom make you laugh?
10: By doing this: (toots). (Just to be clear: I so do NOT toot.)
8: Asking silly questions

5. What was your mom like as a child?
10: I don’t know.
8: Like a kid.

6. How tall is your mom?
10: 5′4”
8: That’s the one question I don’t know.

7. What is her favorite thing to do?
10: Have fun with us.
8: Snuggle with us.

8. What does your mom do when you’re not around?
10: I have no idea.
8: Read and drink wine.

9. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?
10: Being our mom.
8: I would have to say, donating money for kids like us.

10. What is your mom really good at?
10: Everything.
8: Kissing and hugging us.

11. What is your mom not very good at?
10: Not so good at remembering some things (I think the kid is projecting.)
8: Nothing

12. What is your mom’s favorite food?
10: Pork chops
8: Every kind of food except stuff she’s allergic to

13. What makes you proud of your mom?
10: That we get to see her
8: All kinds of things

14. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?
10: Donald Duck from the Oregon Ducks
8: Mini Mouse

15. What do you and your mom do together?
10: Have fun
8: Read

16. How are you and your mom the same?
10: I was born from her!
8: We’re related to each other.

17. How are you and your mom different?
10: I didn’t look like her when I was first born.
8: I’m a boy and she’s a woman.

18. How do you know your mom loves you?
10: ‘Cause she acts like it.
8: Because we were born in her tummy and she’s always loved us. And nothing could stop her from loving us.

19. What does your mom like most about your dad?
10: I have no idea. That’s actually a pretty good question.
8: That they were married.

20. Where is your mom’s favorite place to go?
10: Somewhere to play with us
8: I’m guessing Santa Barbara
